I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to travel throughout most of my life. This privilege has provided me with a wider view of the world as well as the chance to experience cultures and ways of life that differ from my own, or in many ways are surprisingly similar. I wouldn’t trade the jet lag, the awkwardness, the sometimes-scary unknowns, for anything.
While there are pictures to document many of these adventures, I’ve rarely recorded anything about the experiences or my reflections on these trips. Starting in 2017, I realized I’m going to forget the smells, sights, and details if I don’t capture them in writing so here goes!
- Nova Scotia, Canada – July 5-July 9, 2017
- Monticello, Charlottesville, Virginia – May 27, 2017
- Seoul, South Korea – March-April 2017
